Our History
Chef/Owner Adam Schop opened Lovely's Old Fashioned in April 2023. The inspiration came from Adam's grandmother Charlotte who would cook hamburgers for him the old fashioned way with pickles and onions on a potato bun. Charlotte's Special on the menu comes with lots of caramelized onions and Charlotte's sauce and American Cheese. You can add tomatoes, lettuce, hot cherry pepper and bacon to your orders but Chef Adam swears by the simplicity of his hamburgers.

The old school interior was designed by Kevin Devine and Brian Mackin of Farewell NYC, who have curated a familiar, nostalgic vibe that evokes the roadside diners of the '50s-'60s. The colorway of Lovely's Old Fashioned is a dark navy and green with a metallic look counter with the picture of Grandma Charlotte hanging on the wall along an Old School Coca Cola Retro Clock. The brick wall was hand painted by Set Designer & Graphic Artist David Tousley from Tousley Designs.
